The Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ChronoDate In Watercolors Tones
Soft on the outside doesn’t always mean soft on the inside – and this is certainly the case for the latest trio of timepieces launched by Swiss watch manufacturer Carl F. Bucherer.
Hidden behind the pastel colors of the new Patravi ChronoDate models lies a powerful mechanical device that boasts uncompromising precision. The rose-colored, pale blue, or shimmering white chronographs are powered by an automatic movement and, with every second that ticks by, are elegant proof that delicate beauty can make a strong impression.
Shimmering Femininity on the Outside
The new Patravi ChronoDate trio puts an end to monotone monotony, combining rose-colored, pale blue, and snow white mother-of-pearl dials with matching Louisiana alligator leather straps. And, as a special highlight, each watch is supplied with a second calfskin strap.
An extra touch of opulence is added by sparkling diamonds, with 56 stunning stones set in the impressive 40 mm stainless steel bezel and 8 diamond indices on the dial. Curvy, skeletonized hour and minute hands and a long, elegant central stop second hand ensure optimal readability. The tips of all the hands are inset with Super-LumiNova and, along with the shining indices, allow the time to be read easily in the dark.
Absolute Precision on the Inside
The Patravi ChronoDate’s glamorous exterior doesn’t detract from its inner strengths. This stunning time- piece is driven by a CFB 1956 automatic movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. It precisely powers the small seconds subdial at 3 o’clock, the 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, and the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, as well as the easily readable large date display below the 12 o’clock position, which is surrounded by a finely rounded frame. This model is not only proud to display its exquisite dial – the robust sapphire crystal in the screw-down case back wonderfully displays all the stunning details of the movement.
In Good Company: The Patravi ChronoDate
The three new versions of the Patravi ChronoDate complement the existing product line, which features three masculine versions measuring 44.6 mm in diameter. Each of these chronographs has its own unique way of adding a touch of style and precision on the wrist, and brings the art of Swiss watchmaking from Lucerne to life.
